We signpost people who are interested in art, to the Swanley and District Art Society which meets at St Peters Church Hextable – this is a small friendly group for all standards. Beginners are made very welcome. There is a programme of suggested subjects to inspire creativity.

Some members will from time to time share their interest in an artist by giving a short presentation, or may demonstrate how they use a particular medium. Occasionally there is a tutored workshop or a demonstration from a professional.

In the summer months, the Painting Outdoors group ventures out to places of interest to paint on location – this can be very rewarding if the weather conditions are favourable!
