The table tennis group is well established with a hardcore of twelve members. Meetings take place at the White Oak Leisure Centre and the cost is £5 per person. All equipment is supplied. No experience or expertise is required. You need to be a member of White Oaks to gain entry. This is easy - just turn up and tell them you are with U3A table tennis and would like a card, this give you 20% discount at the café. Trainers are the only requirement. New players are always welcome. Research indicates that participation in table tennis is of great benefit to people of the third age!
